Volunteer At High Water
The High Water Music Festival is back folks! Friends of Keep Charleston Beautiful will once again be recruiting volunteers to staff beverage concession stands at the event! This is a fundraising event for us, and $0.30 from each item sold will benefit Keep Charleston Beautiful’s environmental programming. We also keep 100% of tips earned during the event. With High Water falling on Earth Day weekend, we hope we can pull on some of those eco-conscious heart strings to donate big tips!
Volunteers will sign-up to work one 4-hour shift. Shifts are available both Saturday the 23rd and Sunday the 24th. Time slots are 10am-2pm, 1-5pm, 4-8pm, or 7-11pm. Volunteers will be selling alcohol to event patrons, so you must be at least 18 years of age, and will need to complete an online training course prior to the event.
All volunteers will receive free, same day entry to the festival. You can partake in the festival fun before and/or after your shift. Folks looking to attend the festival both days ($200 value), can sign up for one shift each day, if space allows.
If you sign up to volunteer, we expect you to be there! Please do not volunteer if you are not going to be dependable. Without our volunteers, we aren’t able to do our job at the festival, which is a huge problem.
Note: The online training course you are required to complete is through Learn2Serve. The training cost is $7.50, and needs to be completed prior to the event. Please bring proof of completion or a print out of the certificate with you to event.
So, what are you waiting for? Grab a friend or group & reserve your spots TODAY. These will go quick!
